When you book a strategy session, the first person you meet might just be Maeve Downey — and within minutes, you’ll understand why we’re so excited to have her on our team! Maeve is one of those rare people who can make you feel instantly seen and supported, like talking to a friend who genuinely wants the best for you.

Maeve splits her time between the rocky coast of Maine, where she grew up, and the colorful energy of Thailand, where she’s lived for the past 10 years with her husband and their adorable (and delightfully weird) rescue dog, Scrappy.


She loves to hike, dance, travel, explore new places, and fully immerse herself in live music.


And if you ever see her with a hula hoop… prepare to be impressed — she picked up hoop flow during COVID and got really good at it.




A Life Built Around Movement, Expression, and Growth

Movement has always been Maeve’s anchor. She spent nearly 20 years playing competitive soccer and other sports, but after college, she began exploring different forms of expression: yoga, flow arts, dance, and mindful movement. She eventually trained as a yoga instructor and deepened her love of helping people feel connected to their bodies.

As she transitioned into adulthood and started cooking for herself, she became fascinated by nutrition and how the foods she chose made her feel. Instead of restricting or chasing perfection, she learned how to nourish herself in a way that supported her energy, hormones, and lifestyle.

Then, within the last five years, everything clicked into place. Maeve discovered breathwork and somatic therapy, two modalities that helped her reconnect with herself on a deeper level and navigate the challenges that come with injuries, hormonal shifts, and seasons of stress. They changed her life so profoundly that she became certified in both — and now she gets to share them with others.

“They felt like the missing puzzle pieces to the full health picture. Supporting women with these tools and watching their transformations is honestly one of the most beautiful parts of what I do.”

Maeve has worked in the health and fitness world for about 10 years and in the personal development space for 5. Through it all, she’s learned that connection is one of the most powerful tools in any transformation.
