Fitt Cottage Cheese Mashed Potatoes

Mashed potatoes are a holiday classic! This version keeps all the cozy, creamy comfort you love while adding a protein boost that makes the dish more filling and a little more Fitt-friendly. No one will even notice the swap — they’ll just ask for seconds. Servings: 6
Time: 25 minutes
Ingredients
2 lbs potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 cup cottage cheese
2 tbsp butter
¼–½ cup milk or broth
½ tsp garlic powder
Salt + pepper to taste
Chives (optional)
Instructions
Boil potatoes until soft.
Blend cottage cheese in a blender until smooth.
Mash the potatoes with butter and garlic powder.
Stir in the blended cottage cheese.
Add milk/broth until you reach your desired texture.
Season and top with chives.
